BUSKING IS...


Busking is the practice
of doing live performances in public to entertain people, usually to solicit donations and tips. Those engaging in this practice are called buskers. Busking is a British term and is found throughout the world.  Buskers are commonly called street performers. 

Perimeters- The buskers must have a unique act that lasts at least five minutes and can be repeated for crowds. There must be some interaction with the crowd, such as clapping along, dancing or asking for volunteers. Must be a talent that you people would be impressed by and willing to offer money to the busker. Inside the act the busker must have some strategy to get money from the crowd, i.e hat passed around for tips. There is to be no electricity or plug ins. The most important thing to remember is it must be entertaining and appropriate.
