	Ron reports Kevin Murphy will be stopping by to give a presentation on finding a Project Coordinator/Fundraiser
2.	Government Relations Committee:
	Rob has recruited Peter McPhail to speak on our behalf to the feds/ Mary Shryrer
	Duane has contacted Doug MacDonald, Rob Moore’s Executive Assistant, and we can expect support from that office once we identify and apply for programs Duane also feels Linda MacDonald, in the ACOA office, may be helpful and will contact her Duane will contact Gerry Mahrer, newly elected to Quispamsis Council, about assisting us with relations with the town			18 Dec 18 Dec				Duane Duane

	The Board needs to appoint a chairman for a Government Relations Sub-Committee to work with these contacts.							Future board meeting
3.	Kevin Murphy spoke about defining the job of the person we may hire as Fundraising or Project Coordinator. There are several local candidates who may be available. Kevin will continue to assist us in this process. A survey has been made available to gather information. Responses to the survey can be sent thru Mark Reid or to Kevin directly. He will provide a report based on the information he receives. Note: When this person comes onboard we will need to be able to pay their salary as well as provide expenses.			18 Dec				Anyone who can complete a survey
4.	The Mission Statement was reviewed and Kevin has offered to dress it up to add passion. Board to review his modifications at next meeting.			18 Dec				Kevin Murphy
5.	Ron will work on identifying a person to sit on the Regional Recreation Board.			18 Dec				Ron
6.	Bob will appoint Student Reps On 12 Dec Mark reported via email that Brian Brigden and Mark Flynn had been appointed .
7.	Surveys: Both have been awarded. Bob indicated that there was money to pay for the surveys but this highlights the need to establish financial procedures and raise money. Fundy Engineering will be doing the Geotechnical Survey on Wed, 13 Dec. BLee proposed we use this event to generate some publicity. We have contacted the local paper and politicians.
	Kierstead Quigley will be performing the Topographical Surveys. What Dates?			18 Dec				Ron
8.	Facility Design: Marc Tanfara is working to identify ways to make the facility useful to seniors We have been in contact with Supply and Services to determine the extent of the land available, not just for this project but also for possible use in the future (M Shryrer asked about future phases that would add facilities, like a pool or rink). It is possible we could trade land for future use for support/funds for this project. Supply and Services have been unable to supply a current plat of the property. 9.	Fundraising and Local Support Rotary Club – Ron has contacted them and they would like a presentation. To be arranged by Mark R/Bob. Does anyone have contacts with the Lion’s Club? BLee has yet to issue his challenge to the local Indoor Soccer League. Exploring possible grants/loans from Musco Lighting is ongoing. BLee is awaiting responses. Mark R has files on Provincial and Federal programs that may be sources of funding. BLee has taken the NB file for review. 10.	Incorporation, Financials, and Charitable Status Bob, Alexis, and Duane to continue discussions KVHS is incorporated and is a charitable institution with a tax number. Duane is checking to see that what exists is broad enough to include this project. Based on what has been done in the past, Bob feels it is. Duane now has a better idea of why we might want to lease the fields, and will pursue the specifics of what would be required.			18 Dec 18 Dec				Duane Duane
